Planet: Seraphim

Firstly, i've never flown a Stardrifter in my life. I can work my way around a terminal pretty easily, but this is different. It took some brainpower - and repeatedly hammering myself over the head - but after an hour or so i got the ship booted up, and... wow. Just wow.
The manual honestly gave me a headache at first. But that experience of making the first Vimana flight to the closest star i could find was exhilerating. my first star i visited was beautiful. I don't have any photos at the moment, nor do I recall its name, so it is likely lost to time. I quickly left it to find my first star I named - New Horizons. In its orbit was Seraphim, my first planet. No one else has (supposedly) ever landed here before.
As the photo shows, Seraphim is a very dark, icy planet. There's no life - at least not any that I've encountered while visiting. It was a little bumpy, but no obvious cliffs or mountains. Its rotation takes approximately 000:303:120 triads, and each revolution around New Horizons takes approximaely 006:280:822 triads. It's kind of far from the star, as you can see!
Something that may surprise you is the view of the planet from orbit. On site, it's dark, almost black. From outer space, however...
It's blue. Extremely blue. And a little bit of purple, too! Honestly, I was shocked as I approached the surface and watched the cool tones dim until nothing but dark grey remained. I'm not exactly sure of the reasoning for this - I assume something to do with its distance from the star it orbits. Quite an intriguing little planet indeed.
